Laiza Nazario, Himie Voxman and Kathy at Oaknoll Retirement Center in Iowa City on March 30, 2010. Laiza graduated in clarinet from the CMPR, and is now working on her masters with Dr. Maurita Mead at the University of Iowa. Don Himie is 98 and when asked "How are you?" he replied, "Better than I ought to be." What a wonderful contribution he has made to the clarinet world!
